Creating our ART SWAP cards....

I joined this group online at Milliande.ning.com . In it they have a swap section....

Here is what it's all about...click on words below to go to the site....

New Artist Trading Cards Swap with Ancient Civilisations theme. Ancient Civilisations could Aztecs, Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, Minoans etc. Please send 4 Ancient Civilisations themed ATCs to myself, and you will be sent three different Ancient Civilisations themed ATCs back,

I keep the extra one in lieu of postage costs.

Each ATC must be 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches in size, the standard size.

Any mediums may be used, as long as each ATC is an original, not a photocopy.

On the Back of your ATCs, please write your name, address,

mediums used, "Ancient Civilisations ATC Swap", and number of card (eg 1/3, 2/3,

etc). Plus anything else you'd like to add.

The deadline for sign up here and posting them to Sharon Brown is Friday 23rd July 2010.

I will wait two weeks after that date to be sure all have arrived, then I will mix them

up and send you three different Ancient Civilisations ATCs.

I used an old thick magazine cover and cut them into 2.5"x3.5 inch.....

I did some drawings of all things GREEK......I used Google Images for this.....LOVE GOOGLE images.....

My first ever stencil...

I need to get better at this.....but not bad...

The end product......I am going to calligraphy some GREEK words on them later....when done.

Used the leftover paint to texturize my journal pages....

Created some extra cards.....for me.....or for Etsy...
